Being clean for almost 10 years! Wow!
Not having to wear shower shoes to the bathroom
Not having to carry all of my bathroom stuff with me along with my toilet paper
Being able to finish a tube of toothpaste

I still feel a little fucked up but I know for a fact that I would feel much worse if I was still using. How I feel these days doesn’t even come close to the pain I use to feel on a daily basis. When I was struggling with my fourth step my sponsor made a suggestion to write a gratitude list. I started doing it then and have been doing it for years. It is a great tool when you are not feeling that great. It really helps to put thing into perspective.
