There is nothing like some Chef Joe’s Mac & Cheese and the company of friends. Another installment of the three G’s met up today in Cambridge. This time we ventured to the Museum of Science: Where it’s fun to find out.
Here is a picture of us taken by a friend…
Three Gs MOS: Livin and Lovin
As we walked in I noticed my friend Jeff standing there. I stood there and stared at him and he finally noticed me and started laughing. It was really cool to see him…What was really funny was awhile later I bumped into someone from my current job. I guess this is just what people do on Sunday ;0 with or without kids :).
During the electricity show I was selected to go up on stage and power a light. The first light bulb was pretty small and it was easy to generate the power required for that but then when the guy added the required resistance to the wheel for the big light, well, it got much more difficult…

One huge myth is the belief that tires in cars are responsible for protecting people during a lightning storm. I even default to this when asked, but the real answer is that it is the metal cage as it absorbs the charge. The presenter displayed this fact by getting into a metal cage and zapping the cage with over 1000 volts of electricity. He even went so far as to touch the cage further proof that the electricity isn’t interested in him but the metal surrounding him.
As we were walking around the museum we came out to a walkway and I got the following pictures which I thought were really cool:

I got home last night at like 5 and just chilled and watched some more episodes of Heroes. Actually took some time to read Step 6 and start moving in a positive direction with respect to that…I am glad I rested this weekend and didn’t over do it. I am looking forward to climbing tonight and can’t wait to have my teeth cleaned at the dentist-oh yeah.
