Wow! They days they just pass by…
I have been flat out the past few days and have slacked off of the journal. Oh well it happens!
Anyway I took Monday off of work and hung out in Newburyport with Jay. We hit the noon-time and then waited until the 7 o’clock meeting where I was to present my friend Barry with his 19 year coin! Hoo-Raa!
It was a great celebration, but I was in a funky state of mind and thought that I wasn’t making sense. It is so strange how my disease will hit me and then boom there I go thinking that I suck and I am ruining everything. Sometimes it is just about being there that counts. We say what we mean all of the times we show up for our friends.
I did notice that I was really cranky going into Monday. I was pissy about everything. No one could do anything right including myself! I hate it when I am like that. Not very nice but what am I going to do about it? 🙂
Tuesday was spent screwing with an HP switch that is part of a blade enclosure. I got it working but it isn’t where it should be yet so I have more to do there…Someone from HP is suppose to be calling tomorrow so that I can ask some questions.
I made it through the day only because of the massage I had scheduled at urban oasis. Since I have been going regularly my back has never felt better!
My first broken DVD came from Netflix the other day. I reported the problem and shipped it back to them. It made it really easy to choose what movie I was going to watch :).
So finally we are on today. I spent the day doing mostly volunteer work, but I managed to do some realy work also :>. I am really happy now that I did this work since it was something that I had been meaning to do for a while.
I took advantage of this new power reseller Dominion. Now I am suppose to get electricity at 8.53c p/kwh as opposed to over 10c from NSTAR. I hear they are going to get in the gas game too so I will be able to save money there also. I have noticed a HUGE increase in electricity and gas over the past year.
So that is it…No real introspection or anything esoteric and fancy just a laundry list of stuff that I did over the past few days.
