The morning class was really tough. I was in my head most of the class just wishing that it would be over. I said to myself so many times “I’m not practicing tonight…” It really wasn’t the style of teaching that I care for very much but whatever the class isn’t about me nor about the things that I like.
I met up with Terri from Andover and we went out to grab a smoothie from this place down the street. It was pretty cool catching up and talking about yoga.
Back at the hotel we got ready for the posture clinic and I got paired up with Terri. It was cool giving feedback to the students who are working so hard to learn the dialogue. It is really amazing seeing how far I’ve come in the past six months and realizing how when I was a student I had no idea how much further I would have to go to become even a beginner teacher :). It is really good I didn’t know all of the work I was going to have to do before hand…
I probably took in several grams of sodium throughout the day. I’ve been sweating so much in class that I need to replenish the sodium in my body. During the break in posture clinic I ran to my room made a cup of soup and had some cheez-it’s.
I went to the afternoon class and Raj promised us that it would be an easy class. Well it wasn’t as hard as yesterday but it was still tough. I started giving up in the postures. Sometimes because of cramping but mostly because I had nothing left in me just completely empty.
After class I went out to get dinner and ate the shittiest food ever at boston market (yuk!). I called my sponsor and left a message. Came back to the room and went to bed at 8:15pm. So fucking tired.
Off to the morning class now…
