Not Sure

I spent the day installing and configuring drupal, a Content Management Construction Kit. I was able to get everything working fairly quickly but haven’t had time to dig into the concept of taxonomy.

I spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out which way I should go with the whole CMS thing. My initial response is that drupal is easier to deal with in terms of layout without creating custom CSS. For example with drupal I can go into the administration settings and customize the block layout. Wordpress would require theme modification. I am not saying such things are difficult just that I don’t want to deal with it on a day to day basis.

I guess I am just not sure. I am going to let is soak in for the next week or so and keep playing with my drupal installation and see how it goes. It probably wouldn’t hurt to put together a list of requirements and see how each app addresses those needs.

As assinine as it may seem I could also just have a link to wordpress off the drupal main page.
