image838896605.jpgOnce we sorted out all of the problems with our lab and it was clear that the four of us would just be sitting in the lab waiting to do resets I piped up and asked if it would be ok if I went to yoga.

I had everything in order and was ready when the team lead made up the schedule.

I was hoping to hit the noon time class and if I left right away I wod get there in time.

Google maps to the rescue once again as I made my way through union square and down post st to polk.

Once I got to the studio I was able to relax and know that in 90 minutes I would be normal again. I was greeted by really cool people and told where everything was located: bathroom, showers, and yoga room. When I walked in the room I noticed this big green pipe shooting steam into the room. It was really hot and sort of felt like a sauna but I figured what the hell it is only 90 minutes.

Not long after I setup my mat I noticed these blue dots all over the floor. I could tell they had something to do with the mat placement so I just covered it with my mat. Someone else came into the room and setup really close to me. I thought it was a bit weird since there was plenty of space in the room. That was when she leaned in and told me that I am suppose to line up the blue dot with the left hand corner of my mat. Once I did that there was plenty of space! 🙂

Overall the class was great. It was taught by Melissa who in my opinion has probably the slooooowest dialogue I have ever heard! Right after the first posture I was like “Oh triangle is going to be fun :>” She is a really good teacher…

After class I felt amazing. I was so psyched to have the luxury of killing myself for ninety minutes! I took off called some friends and then hit Mel’s Diner for some lunch before going back to work.
