I just woke up and I have no idea what I was dreaming about. I am sure it was something interesting but it is gone now.
I got up and made some coffee, read my meditation book, prayed, and now am sitting in front of my altar, on Sunday, typing away.
The weekend has been fun so far. I went to the Mall on Friday and Saturday and bought some new clothes. I need to get shirts and such for work and also bought somethings that I didn’t totally need but wouldn’t mind having. Dress shoes and a nice spring coat weren’t on my list but they made it back home with me…
On Saturday I helped a buddy move some furniture. It was cool simply because we finally got to hang out and that was fun. Later that day I went back to the Mall to get some more casual clothes and just walk around. I also wanted to get what I would later find out are called reed diffusers. They are sticks in this oil that diffuse a smell. I bought two, french vanilla and lilac blossoms. I also bought a cool candle at the super market that was a mixture of patcholi and frankensense.
Spent the rest of the night working on a three column flier for a service body that I am on. That was fun and challenging and thank god is done! 🙂 Three-column layouts are not that hard but it is tedious to get them the way you want them. I think it will be better if in the end I come up with a layout in the layout to control the text and images and whatnot.
I watched “The Pursuit of Happyness” with Will Smith. Pretty good movie, but I got a bit bored with all of the running scenes. I got the point that this guy had a hard life after the first three running scenes combined with the scenes of his wife leaving him, and his sales job failing.
Later that night I did a couple more segments in the CSS series I have been working on. More on that later.
