OK so you fly all around the world and you get miles. The airlines all make it sound so easy: You earn miles and then you use them to get FREE flights. I think I get it and it all makes perfect sense until you actually try to use your miles.
I called up American Airlies as I had put a reservation on hold and wanted to purchase the ticket with My Miles(tm). I was told that I could not use them for the Super Saver 25000 but she could do something for me in first class which would cost 45000 and OH by the way there was no return flight home. What the f***k?
So I asked the same question a few different ways and the result was the same. It wasn’t because there were no seats on the flight but because there were no more miles redemption seats on the flight.
You know what I think? It is just plain wrong. These companies lie not just AIrlies but all of them. They boast about these terrific programs and then when you actually try and use them they tell you no it only works this way or that way. Once again it isn’t what they tell you that is the problem it is what they lead you to believe which is all hidden in the stuff they don’t say and expect you will assume.
It is about time companies were held accountable for all of their lies, and yes lying by omission is in fact a lie!
By the way American Airles you can shove your fake ass miles up your arse.
Consider them donated to /dev/null.
