Practiced not being the yoga police! I let several things go in an attempt to allow the students to come to me. What that means is that sometimes you just have to give the students a chance to hear things. I don’t have to jump all over them when I see something not right. It was tough for me to not say anything in some situations.

Class went smoothly

I stumbled in the first set of breathing. It wasn’t bad I just didn’t think it flowed really well. I was a bit tired from the morning class but I concentrated and got back on track.

Again I didn’t correct new students I let them be. One student took it upon themselves to correct a newbie. I told her to take it easy and just worry about her class. I said “You are not the teacher” which was a little harsh but it just slipped out of my mouth. It would have been fine to just say leave it alone.

I haven’t taken a day off in a while so I was pretty tired during class. It felt good to be in the front row and working really hard. My ankle was really swollen but by the end of class it was much better. My PT is on the same page as me about the yoga helping.
