10am
Class was really good. Interesting situation: one student who is known for freaking out in the class and acting very strange. I really didn’t know what the hell was wrong with him. At one point it was so distracting I looked over and he was crouched in the corner. I asked him to come back to his mat and he did. We finally got to savassana and he packs his mat up and leaves. I don’t argue because it is just not worth it with him he is right and everyone else is wrong. So whatever I let him go…Now I have to let him out and I go out there to let him out the door and he tells me it is too humid in the room. I told him that I couldn’t have this conversation now and that I needed to let him out. He gets his things and leaves. As I’m going back in the room another student comes out and says she is sick and wants to leave I tried to encourage her to stay but she is determined to leave too and she does.
Then there were 14…
I go back in the class and am turning off the humidifiers not because he complained but because there was no need for them anymore and I notice that he shut off the humidifier near him! I’m really glad I didn’t see him do it because if I had I would have kicked him out of the class. I did my best and didn’t let him steal my peace. Sometimes you just have to ignore people that are behaving like that and just let them shout and pout and do all of that stuff. Because I didn’t respond to that behavior he did the only thing he could do to exert power which is leave and in doing that he is the one who lost and no one else. To bad for him since he really needs the yoga but it doesn’t get changed for anyone.
